Dr. Andrew Davey graduated from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario with a Doctorate of Medicine in 1980. He did three years post graduate studies in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Orthopedic and General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, and Pathology before starting a medical practice in Burlington, Ontario in 1983. Dr. Davey continued in Family Practice with Obstetrics in Burlington for nine years before moving to Phoenix in 1991, where he continues to practice family medicine.
Since moving to Arizona, Dr. Davey has been the medical director for three nursing homes and has been active on committees for Humana, PacifiCare, and Health Choice insurance companies. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Arizona State Physicians Association.
Dr. Davey was born in the United Kingdom and grew up in Ontario, Canada. He studied mathematics and life sciences as an undergraduate prior to entering medical school. On September 7th 2001 Dr. Davey became an American Citizen.
Outside of medical practice, he is married with four children and six grandchildren. He participates and worships at Bridge Church, Gilbert. When he has any time left for recreational activities he enjoys target shooting.
