Dr. Laura Henson was born and raised in Michigan. Like many Midwesterners, she sought warmth in the winter and moved to Arizona after high school. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BSE in biomedical engineering. She then received her medical degree from The University of Arizona School of Medicine in Tucson. She became board certified in family medicine in 2016 after the completion of her internship and residency training at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix.

Dr. Henson loves spending time with her wonderful husband, two sons, family, and friends and enjoys hiking, nature, and traveling. Her special interests include adolescent medicine, anxiety/depression, dermatology, weight management, alternative medicine and preventive care.
